BC Provincial Instructor Diploma Program

The BC Provincial Instructor Diploma Program provides new instructors with the competencies needed to design, manage and evaluate the instruction of adults in post-secondary education, business, industry and non-traditional adult learning environments. It also provides instructors with an accredited development program leading to diplomas and degrees at Vancouver Community College and other institutions.

Diploma in Adult Education

The Diploma in Adult Education is a seven-course program that provides a comprehensive exploration of topics and skills that can assist instructors who work with mature learners. It is designed for adult educators who instruct in both formal and non-credit environments. The program is built upon the foundation of knowledge and skills developed in the BC Provincial Instructor Diploma Program.

Certificate in Online/eLearning Instruction

The Certificate in Online/eLearning Program builds on a foundation of professional preparation in instructor education and on professional experience as an educator. Instructors of online eLearning need to prepare themselves with knowledge and skill sets directly related to this teaching and learning environment.
