I work in the School of Instructor Education at Vancouver Community College. I teach courses in the Provincial Instructor Diploma and the Diploma In Adult Education. My Master's Degree is in Education Curriculum and Instruction. I have completed the course work, the written and oral comprehensive exams at UBC for a doctorate in adult education. I have not completed the dissertation so I am one of these ABD people. (all but dissertation). I have been appointed as an associate adjunct professor of education for the University of Alberta because of the work I did in bringing the U of A B.Ed. program in Adult Education to British Columbia.
One of my main interests continues to be looking at recent brain research and the implications of this research for us as educators. |
